Fossil Astronium truncatum

A fossilized Eocene/Miocene flower from the Green River formation in Utah. I guess that makes it somewhere between 5 and 50 million years old, more likely somewhere in the 20-30 range.

It’s really a beautiful preservation, almost perfect even.

Small fossil Ammonite

Just a small ammonite fossil that came as part of a collection. It’s really nothing special, but it is a nice specimen. I have no idea when/where it’s from.
